Tamil Nadu rains have wreaked havoc across the state. Vehicles can be seen floating, schools and colleges have been shutdown, and total chaos has taken over the state capital. Heavy rains likely to lash Tamil Nadu and Puducherry
The Meteorological department has given a heavy rainfall warning to Chennai and northern coastal districts of Tamil Nadu for three days till Tuesday. The MET department said that the well-marked low pressure over southwest Bay of Bengal persisted. It is likely to move towards Tamil Nadu coast and Puducherry. More rains were expected in the next 24 hours.
