Women will do almost anything to be beautiful� It boggles the mind to what extent some women will go to be beautiful. The current trend of surgically altering appearances is disturbing enough, but what women did 100 years ago is just appalling.� Below you will find 11 images of various contraptions that were thought up to make women more beautiful. Some of the contraptions aren't all that shocking, just a bit bizarre. Others, like this first one, is downright scary!  While I am glad that we have moved away from this level of beautifying our women,  I am sad to see so many cute young girls walking around in sweats and just plain ugly clothing without a care in the world.  I would like to see women (men, too) take more care in their appearance, but not at all to the extent the photos below depict. � � �
