Long horn Miao work to pass on cultural heritage
Nestled in the deep mountains along the borders of Liuzhi Specila Region and Zhijin County in China's Guizhou Province, Suojia Miao Village is the home of a mysterious and distinctive Miao branch named the Long Horn Miao. To honor their deceased ancestors the villagers here wear two horn-like wooden combs overhead and a huge bun woven with yarns and hairs from their ancestors. Looking from a distance the image is extremely impressive. That's why people call them "the nationality with their history overhead".
