Fireflies lighten nightscape in Nanjing
Strolling among flocks of glowworms is no longer a childhood dream.
Photos taken on Thursday have shown fireflies lightening
the nightscape at Linggu Temple in Nanjing, eastern China's Jiangsu Province.
The flickering creatures were seen swirling in the
balmy summer air like the stars shining in the sedate night sky,
shrouding the antiquated temple with its historical root tracing
back hundreds of years, with an ambience of serenity and mystery.
