The animal was hunting for food near the Indian village of Sardul Kheda in the Rajasthan district of Rajsamand, India.
Locals took photographs and videoed the unfortunate beast until someone from the local forestry commission arrived and shot it with a tranquiliser dart.
The animal's ordeal lasted for approximately five hours before it was eventually freed.

A leopard who was looking for water, strayed into a residential location in Udaipur and got its head stuck in a pot. When forest officials were called for help, they showed up without any tranquilizers and hence could not help the big cat.
