Supermoon, lunar eclipse combine for rare celestial event
The supermoon eclipse, which will take place at 0211 GMT on Monday, will last one hour and 11 minutes.
Astronomy enthusiasts are getting set for a dramatic show in the sky. For the first time in more than 30 years, the world will witness a supermoon in combination with a lunar eclipse on the evening of September 27 and the morning of September 28. This combination hasn't been seen since 1982 and won't happen again until 2033.

Rare "Super-Blood Moon" to Appear in Skies Tonight
28th September 2015 sees a combination of super-moon and total lunar eclipse / blood moon. However, this is not the blood moon of 'The Day of the Lord'.
