[nidokidos] I Capture The Beauty Of Abandoned Places Before Nature Reclaims Them Forever

I Capture The Beauty Of Abandoned Places Before Nature Reclaims Them Forever

There is something enticing about abandoned places. One can feel the past in such places, they have a peculiar smell. The nature is inevitably reclaiming them.
A couple of years ago I entered a derelict cement plant in Jaworzno and instantly fell in love with the place. Since then I've been trying to visit as many abandoned places as possible, in Poland and other countries.
I believe that there is an obscure beauty in such places, unseen by most people. I try to bring it forward in my photographs entitled "Abandoned Places" in order to share my passion with inhabitants of Silesia.

Tennessee Wonderland: Exploring an Abandoned Mountain Neighborhood and Hotel

I explored an abandoned neighborhood and hotel hidden inside Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. Abandoned places are sometimes scary but oftentimes beautiful, and this place in Tennessee is a little bit of everything.
