Heart-warming: Surgeon Comforts Little Girl before Surgery

A group of photos recently floods China social media, in which a surgeon holds a crying little girl before her surgery, showing her cartoons on his phone to calm her.
The girl, 2-year-old, was about to have a heart operation in the morning of September 18 in East China's Zhejiang Children's Hospital. She was so frightened that she started to sob.
Surgeon Shi Zhuo, having a 6-year-old daughter himself, held her in hisarms and showed her the cartoons in his phone to calm her down.
The characters speaking a foreign language on the screen were totally absorbing, the girl stared at the screen and gradually stopped crying.
The anesthetist quietly came by and, totally unnoticed by the obsessed girl, put her to sleep almost within a second.
Dr.Shi gently carried the girl into the operating room.
The operation was very successful.
When asked if he knew the photos went viral online, Dr. Shi answered, in an amusingly frank way, "It must be because the little girl is so lovely that the photos can be so well-received
