Bridge collapsed in KSA due to heavy rains
A bridge collapsed in the east of Riyadh Wednesday morning due to heavy rains. A truck went down with the bridge overrunning a pickup during the accident. Whether there were any casualties resulting from the accident remains unclear. However, an eyewitness said that there were no deaths. The bridge is located in Thumamah, some 40 km from the capital. Security authorities had no information about the history of the bridge. Locals said that this is not an old bridge and that it was constructed only a few years ago. (AN photos by Khaled Al-Khamees)
