Bangladeshi travellers cram onto trains as they try to get home for Eid.
Eid and seek: Bangladesh train has hordes clamoring for spare spots
Bangladeshi Muslims push their way into the overcrowded trains to travel home for Eid al-Fitr in Dhaka, Bangladesh, to celebrate the end-of-Ramadan festival. Many take heart-in-mouth journeys, clutching to roofs where there's hardly enough space left for a fly to land on. Eid al-Fitr is the biggest festival in the Muslim calendar and marks the end of the holy fasting month. The festival is marked in Bangladesh over a three-day public holiday when schools close and families feast together.
