Silent Heroes - Citizens of Karachi
Amidst the lack of governance, the crumbling of relief infrastructure, and complete apathy on governance side, silent heroes across Karachi rose to the occasion. It is quite amazing how this country bands together in times of crisis, and it should be of no doubt that it is the common people of Karachi that make it the resilient city that it is; authorities and governance quite literally play no part in it. Here's a tribute in photos to the resilience of the silent heroes of Karachi, who stood in the heat to give people water, who carried patients on their shoulders, who volunteered for endless hours at hospitals, and who gave selflessly. Take a bow Karachi, you are a city of true heroes.
