Aeolian Islands VOLCANO and SALINA - Sicile îles éoliennes
Vulcano has managed to retain almost unchanged its nature of island sui generis: four craters testify to the volcanic origin of this island, the largest of which is the Vulcano Fossa often breathe its sulphurous smoke . A few dozen meters from the sea, near Porto Levante and at the foot of the promontory called the Stack of the Factory, is a lake of mud. Vitality, colors, scents Mediterranean sun, capers and Malvasia: these, and not only the symbols of the beautiful Salina.
