Bangalore: Being a genius is an accomplished task, especially if you have patiently mastered your skill to show the world. As Einstein once said, "The important thing is not to stop questioning; curiosity has its own reason for existing", these young smartest kids had the urge to know more.
Let's get a glimpse of what these small wonders have done to the world as listed out by Business Insider.
#10 Raghav Sood
Age: 15 years
Learning HTML, CSS and Javascript by himself at 9, Raghav Sood started with web development before transitioning to mobile platforms.
Currently studying in Class 10 with a State Science Talent Scholar at Shri Ram School in Delhi, Raghav is the Founder and CEO of Appaholics LLC. In 2012, he published his first book – Pro Android Augmented Reality by Apress LLC, USA.
The young brain has developed several Android and Blackberry apps. He has also been invited for Google's Annual Developer Conference (Google I/O) this spring.
Raghav has a passion for photography and his interests lie in Physics, mathematics and robotics. He aims to pursue a career in artificial intelligence.
#9 Phoebe CaL
Age: 15 Years
Phoebe Cai, a high school junior is a Math researcher already! At 15, she has engaged herself in a collegiate research at the University of Pennsylvania Medical College, assisting data analysis of a research project.
Cai is a bronze medalist at the Math Prize for Girls Olympiad and has won the eighth position in the Math Prize for Girls at MIT. Hiten Raja She is also qualified for the United States of America Mathematical Olympiad this year.
With all these achievement, Cai now aims to study science in college and pursue a graduate degree.
#8 Dylan Toh
Age: 12 Years
Since childhood Dylan has been urging himself in quest for knowledge. Bored with school studies, he used the local libraries to gain more challenging material. A bit later, the Singaporean Ministry of education approved him for accelerating in mathematics, comparing him with a secondary school teacher to study materials of higher grade levels. The 12 year old did it and then found Brilliant.org for more challenging mathematical problems.
Hiten Raja . He was later matched with another mentor at the University of Michigan. Studying under the mentorship of Farell Wu, he practiced abstract linear algebra and demonstrated abilities which assumed to place him in the highest levels of scholarship offers from top tier American Universities.
Dylan is now training himself to participate in robotics, mathematics and table tennis competitions in Singapore.
#7 Tadewos Abiye Getachew
Age: 17 years
Living in Bole, a sub-city outside Addis Abada in Ethiopia, 17 year old Tadewos accompanied by his team mates recently won the First Place in a science fair for developing 'Cognitosoft' - a software program aiming to introduce students in rural Ethiopia to computer science, physics and mathematics in local languages.
Tadewos has also volunteered in the free distribution of this software program to rural groups. In the Ethiopian National Examination, he scored a 99th percentile and this placed him first in the Gibson School Systems World Maths Day competition.
Hiten Raja Now, Tadewos plans to pursue a degree in computer science and mathematics.
#6 Inderjit Kaur
Age: 16
The 16 year old has made wonders to boast of her successes besides academics. Coming from Malaysia, she is a student at the Puscat PERMATA Apintar Negara center for gifted and talented students and is known to build a 'Nanny Robot' which can monitor a child's sounds and temperatures, also signaling parents about the child's cries.
She has also led a team of successful robotic competitions and has won a gold medal in the International symposium on Robotics and Intelligent Sensors 2012.
With her gift to experiment on humanoid robotics, Kaur hopes to pursue a degree in neurosciences from an American University.
#5 Joey Hudy
Age: 16
He has already met the President of USA and has won a number of awards for his engineering skills and creations. Out of that, his most recent one was a solar powered computer that he created in the Sun Valley Solar Ultimate Change.
Being an active participant in Maker Faire, Joey can boast of his two LED Adreno Shields created so far. These printed circuit expansion boards can introduce children to the concept of engineering, with fun. Joey has also started a small business of selling these gadgets on several websites.
Presently, he is doing his high school math and science track at Herbenger Young Scholars Academy at Arizona State University. He hopes to become an electrical engineer and work for Maker Media Inc some day.
#4 Nur Muhammed Shafiullah
Age: 15
Nur Muhammad Shafiullah is the youngest student from Bangladesh to compete in the International Mathematical Olympiad and International Olympiad in Informatics.
In 2012, young Muhammad received a bronze medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad in Argentina. He had also secured the highest score in math at the Bangladesh mathematical Olympiad for three consecutive years.
Besides these math competitions, the 15 year old works in math camps in Bangladesh and is the moderator of the Bangladesh Mathematical Olympiad's online forum for students.
Muhammad plans to apply in colleges abroad after graduating high school next year. He is interested to develop more skills in the field of computers and biology.
#3 Kensen Shi
Age: 17 years
Kensen Shi is a 17 year old senior at A&M consolidated High school in College Station, Texas.
Back in 2012, he won the top individual Prize for Math, Science and Technology. He has co-authored a research paper introducing his winning project called Lazy Toggle PRM – a more efficient method of motion planning, with number of uses in robotics, animation and game design.
At the Intel Talent Search in 2013, Shi won the 6th place. He has also competed in a number of US mathematical Olympiads and is a musical artist as well. He is a passionate pianist and has won the National Piano Audition twice from the National Guild of Piano Teachers.
With a bundle of talent involved, Shi plans to major in Computer Sciences at Stanford University.
#2 Lawrence Sun
Age: 16 Years
Lawrence was one of the 20 candidates who were invited to participate in the 2012 United States Physics team.
At an International Symposia on Multi –Valued Logic in 2012, he presented his published research on robot programming techniques that found contradictions in laws governing police use of force. He also led his team in the 2013 winter Online Math Open topping among 119 competing teams.
Very soon Lawrence Sun will be a part of MIT once he graduates from high school. He plans to major in physics and pursue a career in research in the academic or technology development field.
#1 Farell Wu
Age: 12 years
A small wonder himself, began doing math at one and at 3, he was a stock trader!
His incredible thirst for knowledge made him read a lot of books and the encyclopedia while waiting for his parents to pick him up from school.
He kept the judges and peers at shock by standing third in the Mathematical Olympiad at the age of 12.
Wu is also considered to reach the level of an exceptional undergraduate math major. He further plans to continue his studies in mathematics and pursue a career in investment banking.

Raghav Sood, 16, is a New Delhi based entrepreneur [Founder/CEO of Appaholics LLC] . He has been working with computers since the age of 9, and has worked on multiple platforms and technologies. These days, he focuses on mobile systems like Android, and is working on cutting edge Augmented Reality hardware and software. At the age of 15, he published a book named 'Pro Android Augmented Reality' has since been working on new areas of the Augumented Reality Field. Raghav was invited by Google to attend Google I/O, Google's biggest developer conference, in May in recognition of his achievements and contributions on the Android platform.He has published several Android Apps and 2 BlackBerry ones. In addition to developing more Android, Blackberry and iOS Apps, his apps have been downloaded more than 100,000 times.
