Dear all,
I attempt to recall some quotes on love. I am interspersing them with my own thoughts here and there. It is a jumble.
1. Love implies endless sacrifice. Love calls for giving always and never take. Without understanding, love can not exist. Selflessness is love. Love is eternal.Pure love has no motives. Love is not love, if does not serve and sacrifice.
2. Love is the easiest and smoothest way towards self-surrender or sublimation of ego.
3. Love is its own end; love can never be the means.
4. Love is law of life. Love binds, love makes for oneness.
5. Love is the highest ideal.
6. In human relations, perfect love is very rare. Ordinarily human love is seen to flourish only in places where it is returned. Love creates and lust destroys the peace in the heart of man.
7. Love is the one motive power in the universe.
8. Loves knows no bargaining. Love questions not.
9. There is only one element in life which is worth having at any cost, and it is love.
10. Love is natural; it waits for no logic
11. All earthly love proceeds from the body. Love of God is not physical but mental. Love without faith and sincerity is naught.
12. Where love is not returned for love, cold indifference is the result. When love is thin, faults become thick.
13. Kindness and love can buy the whole world. Good results can be produced only through love,through sympathy.
14. Love conquers in the long run.
15. The reward of love is love.
16. To the lover,the beloved is the most beautiful being that ever existed.
17. It is indeed very difficult to have equal love for all, but without it there is no liberation.
18. With the love of God will come, as it's effect, the love of every one in the long run. Where there is love, He is there.
19. Love must get to its right destination, it must go unto Him, who is really the infinite ocean of love.
20. The love of God is the only love that is higher than a mother's love; all others are lower.
