Lilica: the junkyard mutt
A beautiful story of a poor and brave junkyard mutt.
Update 8/4/2014: The junkyard owner received USD $15K from a Brazilian TV show in mid 2013. Lilica doesn't like the spotlight, she ran away from the TV crew (they wanted to take her to Rio de Janeiro for a live TV show.) She returned to the junkyard the following day when the media was gone (way to go Lilica!). I don't know much about teacher Lucia. I'm looking into further ways to support Lilica and give teacher Lucia the love and recognition she also deserves. Email me directly if you have ideas and/or want to participate.
