The film starts with a woman singing a lori (lullaby) to her child while her husband seems distressed at something. The intelligent twist in the tale comes when we realize that there's no child, just a toy she was playing with. The husband is sterile (incapable of bearing children) due to his smoking habit.
It leaves a strong reverberation of the child's cry in our minds: a powerful reminder of the grim consequences of smoking how it affects the lives of not only our own but our loved ones too.
Research estimates that one in two smokers will die from a disease caused by their smoking habit.
