Follow Traffic Rules For Yourself ; Not For The Cops!

If someone asks you that do you follow all the traffic rules,your quick response will be yes.
But really,keep your hand on your heart and answer the same question with deep introspection.There would be many time,when you didn't wear helmet,seat belts and have travelled in triple loading on a bike and only thing that you cared at that time is to not get caught in the eye of the Police.
Traffic rules are not for Police to check but for our own safety.With over 130,000 deaths annually,India is the accident capital of the world.Every road accident has some victim,who never knew that their life will be turned around by a small mistake.

I saw all riders on the road wearing a helmet. It was truly satisfying to see. Finally, people were taking a right step.

People have used all the excuses in the book for not wearing a helmet - some of the more common ones are that it is too hot (especially in chennai), hair-loss (yes, some people actually believe that wearing a helmet caused them to lose hair), neck pain, ear pain, inability to see clearly etc. No one seemed to compare those to losing their lives! Then when the order came from the Government, everyone complained that the helmets were too expensive. I guess they'd rather spend the lakhs in hospital costs for injury than Rs. 1000 for a helmet!
So there was Chennai taking a step in the right direction. We finally realized that there were too many deaths caused due to riders not wearing helmets when using their motorcycles.

[nidokidos] Avoid Hesitation

Neil Armstrong, he is the 1st person to set his foot in moon.

But, do you know who was supposed to be the 1st person? Many don't know...

His name is Edwin C Aldarin...
He was the pilot for the Apollo mission. He was working for the American Airforce. Moreover he had experience of space walking, hence selected as the pilot.

Neil Armstrong worked for the American Navy. He was selected for his courage as co-pilot.

When the Apollo mission landed on moon, they received a command from NASA, "pilot first".

But Aldarin was hesitant, "what will happen", "will I get sucked in or will I burn out", etc. The hesitation was not for hours, but few seconds.

In the meantime, NASA sent the next command, "co-pilot next".

Within next second, Neil Armstrong put his foot on the moon became part of world history.

World history was changed in 1 second... Though Aldarin had the qualification and talent, because of hesitation, he is not recognised by many people.

The world remembers only person who comes first...
This is a good example of how people lose out because of hesitation fear. Whenever you see the moon, remember this, a moments hesitation can stop us from our greatest victory.

We all have great potential in us, the only thing that stops us from achieving what we are supposed to achieve is our hesitation, fear and shyness.

Many people are shy to ask, shy to appreciate others, some are shy to share this message. If we fail to do the right things, we will most likely do the wrong things.

Hence share the good messages. Avoid hesitation.

The Swing At The End Of The World Is A Wanderluster's Dream Come True

Calling all lovers of adrenaline and adventure: THIS is a spot for your bucket list.
The Swing at the End of the World is a breathtaking little treasure in the mountains nearBaños, Ecuador. The high-flying rope swing hangs from a treehouse called Casa del Arbol, beckoning every wanderlust-y soul to come and take the ride of their lives.

The treehouse above the swing is actually an observation center for Mt. Tungurahua, the active volcano you can see in the background.
Daredevils who hop on the swing will catch a glimpse of the volcano (perhaps in mid-eruption) and a dizzying view of the canyon floor from about 100 feet high.
Like many good treasures, the Swing at the End of the World has not gone undiscovered.Visitors report there's a $1 fee to ride the swing, and a second one has been constructed nearby. Those who've visited suggest you can get there by hiking, taking a bus or hiring a taxi from the nearby city of Baños.
Hey, if you're going to go off the beaten path, you might as well get a ride.
