[nidokidos] A Good Moral Story

A Good MORAL STORY

There once was a king who offered a prize to the artist who would paint the best picture of peace. Many artists tried. The king looked at all the pictures, but there were only two he really liked and he had to choose between them.
One picture was of a calm lake. The lake was a perfect mirror, for peaceful towering mountains were all around it. Overhead was a blue sky with fluffy white clouds. All who saw the picture thought it was a perfect picture of peace.
The other picture had mountains, too. But these were rugged and bare. Above was an angry sky from which rain fell, and in which lightening played. Down the side of the mountain tumbled a foaming waterfall. This did not look peaceful at all. But when the king looked closely, he saw behind the waterfall a tiny bush growing in a crack in the rock. In the bush a mother bird had her nest. There in the midst of the rush of angry water, sat the mother bird on her nest.
The king chose the second picture as the winner. "Because," explained the king, "peace does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. Peace means to be in the midst of all those things and still be calm in your heart. That is the real meaning of peace."

The Moral
"Real peace is when one can be calm in the midst of tumultuous surroundings "

[nidokidos] Cat gives a cardiac massage to his injured friend

Cat gives a cardiac massage to his injured girlfriend

This stray cat was filmed in Turkey( Kızılsaray district of Antalya ) trying to reanimate his female friend who got hit by a car. Even though some people tried to help him, the white cat wouldn't let them come near for two straight hours. Finally a vet arrived and took the injured cat. Sadly, it was too late and he couldnt resuscitate the feline.

Be Punctual

Be punctual. To arrive early, or right on time, is a sign of respect for yourself and others.

By being punctual you reduce your stress levels and
avoid causing inconvenience to others.

The key is planning. Allow extra time in your preparations and for any delays.

Remember, getting ready, even locking the door,
catching the lift, walking to the car, the tube... all takes time.

Maybe, the secret to punctuality is as simple as waking up when you're supposed to wake up!

Power of Silence

Sometimes you are trying to remember something, its within your reach,
on the tip of your tongue, but it is just isn't coming out. Everyone
around is suggesting something or trying to help, but in reality not
helping at all. You wish for a moment of silence, so that you can dive
into your memory bank, for you know that is the only way you will be
able to remember. This is the power of silence in action. Many, not
recognizing its power, do not value it. They turn their heads away from
the thought of a few moments of silence. They feel it a punishment.

When we find our thoughts moving in many directions because of external
demands on our attention, we need to stop, take a rain check on
everything and experience silence. This power of silence is essential
when we want to plan for the future, we should silence unnecessary
thoughts and think of a point in question. So when you get an
opportunity of a moment's silence, don't waste that precious moment.
Use it to store the strength within that is so necessary for dealing
with the world without.

An EPIC SURPRISE (w/ Less Screaming): AN AMAZING Choreographed Wedding Dance

My brother Sean Rajaee surprised his bride with a choreographed American/Persian groomsmen dance at his wedding June 21, 2014. The dance started off with a Beyonce song then went into the bride (Ariana's) favorite band the Backstreet Boys and ended with the Bruno Mars song "Marry You." The group even included a fun Persian dance number by Barobax "Soosan Khanoom."
