BULLEH SHAH, a Master Muslim Sufi Poet of Medieval Punjab on Search for GOD!!

He identified where to find Love and the Divine presence. Nowhere, but within ones self. !

The following lines, in Punjabi language, and their translation are:

Je rab milda nahateya dhoteya, te rab milda dadduan machiyan noo,
Je rab milda jangal phireyan te rab milda gaiyaan bachiyan noon
Je rab milda mandir - masiti te milda cham chidikhiyan noon
Ve miyan Bulleya rab onhan noon milda
Ati dil-eya achiyyan sachhiya noon

If God was to be found by bathing and cleaning, then frogs and fishes would have found him long back;
If God was to be found by roaming in jungles, then cows and other animals would have found him long back;
If God was to be found in Temples and Mosques then the birds and the bats would have found him long back;
Bulleh, GOD will be found only by those who are true and good at heart

Bulleh Shah stimeless verse has been celebrated by several artists but it is Abida Parveen the immensely gifted singer, a bit of dervish herself, who has celebrated Bullehs poetry to the fullest. Perhaps in the spirit of magic and mystical abandon with which Bulleh mused and uttered these lines

Here is something that I came across today I have been listening to this piece for years but to see it on youtube so easily accessible � was exciting to say the least.

Bravo, Abida-ji for infusing so many dimensions to this immortal poetry.

The Rs 3.42 crore Ferrari FF comes to India.

The Ferrari Four: Ferrari, which officially entered India earlier this year with the appointment of the Shreyans Group as official importer, launched its four-seater model FF in India.

The FF's price starts from Rs 3.42 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi).

With the Formula One race being held in India and a lot of Ferrari fans in India, Ferrari SpA Chief Executive Officer Amedeo Felisa said: "We had success yesterday with Alonso... We hope that the popularity of the brand will increase."

Ferrari's driver Fernando Alonso came third behind Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel and Mclaren Mercedes' Jenson Button in the Formula One Indian Grand Prix yesterday.

Commenting on the latest FF model, which made its global debut earlier this year, Felisa said Ferrari has so far sold 800 units and bookings are already complete for next year, at over 1,000 units.
